Scholarships at Universidad de Essex 

If you're an international student studying at one of our global channel partners, you could be eligible for a scholarship worth approximately £8,400, which you'll receive as a 50% tuition fee discount in your first year of study.

Eligibility

You must meet all of the following conditions.

• be classified as an international student for fee purposes
• be fully self-funding your studies
• be in the first year of your undergraduate degree course in 2021-22
• for 2021-22 entry: undergraduate students must make Essex your firm choice on UCAS by 31 May 2021
• applicants must exceed 68% for 2+1 route and 56% for 1+2 route)

Students who aren't eligible

You are not eligible for this award, even if you meet the criteria above, if you:

• defer your entry (if you defer entry to the following year, the award will be withdrawn, though
  you may be considered again under the following year's terms and conditions)
• your course is at East 15 Acting School

You can only receive one award and it can't normally be held in conjunction with other University of Essex awards.

How to apply

In order to be considered for these awards you must complete and submit the application form by 31 May 2021. Alongside the application form, you must submit a 500-word supporting essay which will be considered by the selection panel alongside other applications.
